I studied dentistry at Bristol University and qualified in 1993. I gained postgraduate experience in various fields of dentistry working both in general dental practice and the hospital system before deciding to specialise in Orthodontics which had always been the area of dentistry I enjoyed most.
I achieved the Fellowship of Dental Surgery from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 1997 and then went onto undertake a 3 year specialist orthodontic training programme in Birmingham.
I have been a registered Specialist in Orthodontics since 2000 and opened Orthodontics For You in 2011.
My special interest is in lingual orthodontics and I have one of the largest lingual brace practices in the UK. I am a platinum provider of Incognito Lingual Braces and have used them for more than 10 years. I enjoy treating both children and adults and helping them to achieve the individual smile they have always wanted.
I am a contributing editor of the Orthodontic Practice Journal and have been a past editor of the British Orthodontic Society Business Supplement and secretary of the Midland Orthodontic Society and the British Dental Association.
My spare time is spent running round after my two boys, which helps me keep fit, along with swimming and cycling.
